AJ Buehler had been teaching martial arts for over two decades when he became a licensed massage therapist. In the two decades since, AJ has drawn upon his extensive knowledge of the human body and sports performance to help people of all ages and from all walks of life to heal from injury and feel better.
Today, in addition to owning and operating Therapeutic Massage & Fitness, AJ is a faculty member at Bend’s Sage School of Massage & Healing Arts, where he teaches beginning kinesiology and other massage classes according to the rigorous standards set by the Commission on Massage Therapy Accreditation (COMTA).
AJ specializes in deep tissue massage, sports massage and Swedish massage. His down-to-earth, personable style makes you feel right at home and puts new clients at ease immediately. An avid cyclist and Aikido practitioner, AJ lives in Bend with his wife Monica and their two daughters. Together with their Shlab (Siberian husky/Lab), Shasta, the Buehler family enjoys camping, hiking, kayaking and spending time in the beauty of Central Oregon.
